About the role

Senior software engineer responsible for end-to-end software for Starlink Enterprise products (e.g., Plaser, Community Gateway, Starlink Aviation), spanning embedded, backend, and UI, with ownership of full software lifecycle and hardware-in-the-loop testing.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant devices that operate for long periods of time with minimal maintenance for millions of users
  • Participate in and lead architecture, design, and code reviews
  • Identify areas to improve the experience, reliability, and efficiency of the product
  • Develop prototypes and manage experiments to prove out key design concepts
  • Write quality linux based software for common processors and microcontrollers
  • Develop hardware-in-the-loop testbeds and testcases

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development
