About the role

OpenAI is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead Youth product efforts, shaping age-appropriate AI experiences for teenagers across OpenAI’s products. The role emphasizes safety, trust, accessibility, and cross-functional collaboration to improve daily life for youth and families.

Responsibilities

  • Create age specific product experiences for <18 users
  • Identify user needs and turn them into high-impact product opportunities, owning products end-to-end, from concept through launch and iteration
  • Build experiences that balance usefulness, simplicity, trust, safety, and accessibility
  • Define success metrics and use data and research to guide roadmap decisions
  • Partner cross-functionally to execute quickly and effectively

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience leading large-scale consumer or platform products
  • Experience building for teenagers
  • Strong product judgment and ability to simplify complex problems
  • Ability to work effectively with technical teams and ship high-quality products
  • Analytical, user-focused, and excellent cross-functional communicator
  • Care deeply about using AI to improve everyday life
