About the role

Engineer to provide technical, engineering support to Meta’s Advertising partners, customers, and clients globally. Collaborate with a global team to troubleshoot, integrate, and improve Meta’s Adtech products, with opportunities to work across Business Messaging, Telecommunications, and product-focused customer support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive and reactive engineering support for partners, independently managing complex outages to ensure high partner satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems and partner integrations, maintaining reliable systems through debugging and root-cause analysis
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, automate repetitive tasks, and scale impact with an 'AI native' mindset
  • Build, launch, and optimize AI solutions using Llama and other LLMs, from prototype to production
  • Develop performance monitoring systems for partner integrations to ensure high availability; use metrics to drive improvements
  • Provide 24/7 oncall support coverage via rotation (including weekends)
  • Collaborate with Platform and Infrastructure teams to investigate issues, align on fixes, and drive improvements
  • Create documentation, specs, guides, and presentations to communicate AI concepts to diverse audiences
  • Drive end-to-end execution, manage stakeholder expectations, and mentor other engineers
  • Identify trends/opportunities from data, recommend improvements, and share knowledge across the team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years in software engineering, site reliability engineering, or support engineering
  • Experience in API development on cloud-based infrastructures; able to debug and resolve outages impacting partners
  • Full web stack experience: REST APIs, Python, PHP/Hack, JavaScript/React; debugging and bug management
  • Knowledge of fine-tuning/optimizing PyTorch models and at least one LLM (e.g., LLaMA, GPT, Claude, Falcon)
  • Experience communicating with technical and business audiences; ability to write technical docs
  • Experience with data analysis (SQL) for issue assessment and resolution
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a cross-functional environment
  • Professional working proficiency in English
