About the role

Commercial lead responsible for sourcing across META's Display and Optics ecosystem, influencing product definitions, designs, and supplier relationships to drive quality, availability, and cost in VR and Wearables Display and Optics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop overall vision, strategy and execution plan for the Global Display and optical module integration module Sourcing function. Driving an integrated long-term supplier development approach focused on delivering high quality standards, delivery and cost

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of sourcing and procurement experience in Display and/or Electronics Commodity and technology management, including demonstrated experience managing overall supplier performance
  • Engineering or Technical BS degree
  • Experience working in enterprises with hardware portfolio
  • Expertise in market analysis to formulate sourcing strategies
  • Expertise in financial statement analysis to derive should-cost models and cost competitiveness/financial strengths of suppliers, as well as gathering market intelligence
