About the role

Senior IT Engineer at Muon Space focusing on identity and access management (IAM) with strong Okta expertise. Responsible for authentication/authorization across SaaS, cloud, on-prem, and endpoints; design scalable identity solutions; manage access workflows and reviews; enforce data access restrictions for CUI, EAR, ITAR. Onsite in San Jose, CA five days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Own authentication across the organization, including SaaS applications, cloud environments, on-premises infrastructure, and user endpoints.
  • Architect and evolve Okta environment to meet needs of a fast-growing company.
  • Design authorization models for each system with least-privilege access.
  • Build and maintain access request workflows and access review systems.
  • Define and enforce access restrictions protecting CUI, EAR, ITAR-controlled data.
  • Administer and integrate identity across Okta, Active Directory, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365.
  • Manage identity and access across AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Partner with IT, Security, and business teams to align IAM with compliance and operational requirements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of IT experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Okta and identity management.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Google Workspace administration.
  • Experience managing identity and access across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and access governance, including access requests and access reviews.
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
