About the role

Independent contractor project-based role for native Japanese speakers from the Kansai region to collect and review AI speech data featuring authentic Kansai dialect.

Responsibilities

  • Record short, natural Kansai-ben conversations using your smartphone
  • Read sentences naturally, like you’re chatting with friends or family
  • Listen to and review Kansai dialect audio
  • Help identify authentic Kansai dialect and distinguish it from Standard Japanese
  • Check recordings for clarity and quality

Qualifications

  • Native Japanese speakers from the Kansai region of Japan
  • Comfortable speaking in a natural Kansai dialect
  • Good listening and attention-to-detail skills
  • Able to follow simple recording and project guidelines
  • Experience with audio or language projects is a plus, but not required
