About the role

Security Operator responsible for first impression of the organization, access control, visitor management, incident response coordination, and site security across SpaceX facilities in Memphis, with flexibility for site variations and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Tracking special events and visits
  • Provide high-quality customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors
  • Ensure knowledge and implementation of access control, escort, and tour protocols
  • Coordinate with Security leadership and SPOC for incident response and emergencies
  • Assist emergency response personnel dispatched to a SpaceX site
  • Monitor site surveillance camera system
  • Prepare clear and concise written incident reports
  • Report maintenance, facility, and technology issues and alarms
  • Build collaborative relationships with other SpaceX departments and external partners regarding day-to-day security operations and special events or emergencies
  • Perform site-specific duties such as standing post, escort duty, tours, and other tasks as directed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 3+ years of experience in customer service or facility security-related capacity
