About the role

Director of Product leading Wallets & Treasury across Polygon's Open Money Stack, defining strategy and building enterprise wallet, custody, treasury infrastructure, and programmable money capabilities to enable secure, compliant, and scalable onchain money management for businesses and developers.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy spanning enterprise wallets, custody, treasury infrastructure, access to onchain financial products from money at rest.
  • For enterprise customers, solve operational problems behind holding money onchain: secure wallet infrastructure, permissions and policies, custody models, treasury operations, compliance, liquidity, reconciliation, and integration with existing financial systems.
  • Make onchain money easier to hold, control, move, and put to work for users of the OMS.
  • Define success metrics, tradeoffs, and work with engineering, design, go-to-market, and ecosystem teams.
  • Define product strategy for enterprise wallet usage and access to digital assets across custodial and non-custodial environments.
  • Build products and infrastructure for onchain balances, liquidity, permissions, policies, counterparties, and treasury operations onchain.
  • Enable programmable money through rules around access, authorization, transfers, automation via APIs and programmable infrastructure.
  • Create pathways for idle capital to be deployed via onchain yield, liquidity, and DeFi opportunities.
  • Connect stored balances to payments, payouts, transfers, and other financial workflows across the Open Money Stack.
  • Develop custody and control models across custodial, non-custodial, embedded, and hybrid wallet architectures with clear customer value.
  • Engage with fintechs, payment companies, financial institutions, marketplaces, and global businesses to understand needs and gaps in current infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with wallets, custodians, stablecoin issuers, DeFi protocols, liquidity providers, and other partners to deliver integrated products.
  • Take products from thesis to launch and scaled adoption; define and monitor success metrics; work with engineering, design, GTM, and ecosystem teams.

Qualifications

  • Significant product leadership experience across enterprise wallets, custody, payments, treasury, fintech, or crypto infrastructure.
  • Experience building enterprise-grade wallet or digital asset infrastructure at a sophisticated financial infrastructure company (e.g., Fireblocks, Coinbase, Circle, Anchorage, Stripe, Block, or similar).
  • Deep understanding of enterprise wallet architecture, including custody, key management, signing, permissions, policy engines, transaction workflows, and security.
  • Experience with both custodial and non-custodial wallets with clear perspectives on architectures.
  • Track record of shipping payments, money movement, treasury, or financial infrastructure products at meaningful scale.
  • Strong knowledge of stablecoins and decentralized finance, including onchain liquidity and yield products.
  • Understanding of business operational needs: security, controls, compliance, reconciliation, liquidity, reliability, and system integration.
  • Understanding of consumer wallet experiences and differentiation between business/developer/end-user needs.
  • Technical depth to collaborate with blockchain and infrastructure engineers without losing customer focus.
  • Strong product judgment in security-sensitive, money-related environments.
  • Ability to translate broad vision into focused roadmaps and execute.
