About the role

Founding engineer role to own the Manufact MCP Cloud product end-to-end, focusing on product direction and engineering execution for MCP infrastructure and UX/DX.

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship the Manufact MCP Cloud product end-to-end.
  • Own the UX/DX of the platform: the deploy flow, the dashboard, the inspector, the docs surface.
  • Set the technical direction of the product together with the founders.
  • Talk to users, watch them use what you built, and improve.

Qualifications

  • You are already in the MCP space (or excited about it).
  • Great product taste. You can tell good from bad and say why.
  • 10x engineer. You ship in a day what takes a team a week, and it holds up in production.
  • You are a great hacker.
  • Speed of execution. Startups move quickly.
  • Must be smarter than the founders.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco.
