About the role
Member of Technical Staff (Commercial) – Tech, on-site in San Francisco. Client-facing product role at an AI benchmarking company, owning client relationships end to end, with ~80% client work and ~20% internal product/technical work.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with the teams building frontier AI - as their primary relationship at Artificial Analysis
- Ramp into deep expertise in AI and AI benchmarking
- Own the front door for our clients: field inbound requests, including pre-release model benchmarking
- Advise and support clients to interpret their results in context
- Grow the business end to end, from first outreach through to close
- Own your accounts through their full lifecycle - renewals, escalations, business reviews
- Ensure delivery lands: benchmark runs, custom analysis and every commitment to a client
- Contribute directly to product and technical work within your pillar (roughly 20%)
- Embrace an AI-native workflow, using cutting-edge AI tools to generate leverage
Qualifications
- 3+ years in client-facing technical roles at top technology companies or startups (frontend/product/technical pre-sales/sales engineering/solutions architecture)
- Experience owning client relationships and technical product engagements
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, especially around how numbers are produced
- Genuine, demonstrable interest in frontier AI and informed opinions about AI trajectory
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, high responsiveness, full ownership of accounts
