About the role

Senior Market Manager responsible for Airbnb's Homes business growth and supply in Vietnam, with Bangkok-based role. Lead acquisition, retention, and market success through in-market expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and localized supply management.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage partner relationships within Vietnam Core Host accounts, develop strong and long-lasting partnerships
  • Prospect and onboard new, high-quality supply in your assigned geography
  • Analyze data and utilize data-driven recommendations to identify and action on strategic opportunities in your region to increase sales
  • Proven ability to handle operational complexity and maximize impact of resources
  • Develop deep knowledge of assigned geographic markets and become the go-to source for local trends and market dynamics for internal and external partners
  • Represent Airbnb in external meetings and events with Core Hosts in your market
  • Educate hosts on product changes and cascade feedback on product and policy to internal stakeholders
  • Hold regular optimization calls and business reviews with partners
  • Respond to and deliver exceptional service to Core Hosts, occasionally traveling for in-person support
  • Work cross-functionally with product, communications, public policy, and customer support teams to ensure long-term market success

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in partnership, Business development, sales, or account management
  • Experience in Tech (Travel tech a plus)
  • Experience in Vietnam is a must
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Proven track record of managing a leads pipeline or book of business
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to engage hosts via phone, email, meet-up, and in-person
  • Proficient quantitative skills; ability to interpret and apply data daily
  • Highly proficient with CRM software; Salesforce experience a plus
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, projects, and deadlines
  • Ability to travel to Vietnam depending on business needs
  • Fluent in Vietnamese and English
  • Passion for Airbnb, travel, and the sharing economy; hosting experience a plus
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally
  • Ability to work at strategic and tactical levels; capable in ambiguous environments
  • Charismatic self-starter, resourceful and self-sufficient
