About the role

Lead Connectivity Capacity Deployment Operations across the logistics network for Meta data center hardware, coordinating warehousing, transportation, 3PLs, and deployment planning to drive efficiency, scale operations, and meet growing capacity needs.

Responsibilities

  • Must be available to work an 8-hour shift within a 12-hour operational window (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), with flexibility required for occasional weekend coverage as needed. When a weekend shift is assigned, an alternate weekday off will be scheduled
  • Define and enforce allocation frameworks that direct constrained inventory toward highest-impact programs and business-critical deployments
  • Triage competing requests using clear criteria (revenue impact, program milestone risk, deployment criticality) and communicate trade-off decisions to stakeholders
  • Lead cross-functional prioritization forums to align XFN partners on high-impact shortages and drive down shortages for deployment
  • Continuously refine prioritization rubrics based on post-mortem learnings and shifting business priorities
  • Coordinate day-to-day deployment planning and execution to move data center hardware from Meta's North American distribution network into deployed, live capacity
  • Manage the movement of goods and equipment by building efficient operations and schedules for on-time delivery
  • Align on required value-added services (VAS) processes to support connectivity gear at distribution and deployment sites across 3PLs, value-added services providers, and XFN, and deploy to meet customer needs
  • Oversee on-site 3PL and warehouse vendor operations to ensure quality control and compliance with Meta's policies, procedures, and safety protocols
  • Define standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize deployment efficiency
  • Track KPIs (on-time delivery, transit times, cost reporting) and act on the data to resolve bottlenecks and operational risks
  • Support root-cause analysis (RCA) on inventory discrepancies, including Sarbanes-Oxley inventory-control requirements
  • Assess supply chain costs attributed to each program to clarify how current priorities affect supply chain performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Finance, or related field; other technical education, experience, and degrees considered based on professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, 3PL management, transportation management, supply chain, inventory management, operations, or manufacturing
  • 5+ years of experience operating in a matrixed organization, independently identifying, managing, and solving complex, ambiguous problems
  • Proven track record independently leading warehouse and transportation operations and 3PL providers at scale, and driving operational quality and compliance in a large-scale distribution environment
  • Demonstrated experience setting operational standards, metrics, and SOPs adopted across teams or regions
  • Hands-on experience with logistics management systems (WMS/TMS/OMS) and transportation logistics services
  • Experience in performance analysis, detailed reporting, and cost management / budget adherence
  • Willingness and ability to travel (estimated ~25%) to warehouse and 3PL locations across North America for on-site management and auditing
