About the role

Senior Engineer responsible for designing, building, and operating Redpine's knowledge graph and related pipelines. Owns the knowledge graph from design through production, ensuring traceability to sources and alignment with business needs for licensed domain data.

Responsibilities

  • Own the knowledge graph from start to production, including design of ontology and schema, and building pipelines that convert raw sources into the graph.
  • Run the knowledge graph in production and assess its impact on agent performance.
  • Address entities appearing under different names across sources and handle source conflicts by deciding what to state and what to flag.
  • Ensure traceability by mapping every node and edge back to the originating document and license.
  • Keep the graph updated as sources change and manage licensing considerations.

Qualifications

  • Built and run a knowledge graph or entity resolution system in production.
  • Owned a system from design through production on a small team without a platform team.
  • Strong Python and data pipelines you designed yourself.
  • Good sense of when a graph is the right tool vs. simpler retrieval.
