About the role
Finance & Strategy Manager at Confido, an AI-driven financial automation platform for CPG brands. Role focuses on strategic finance, FP&A, reporting, and cross-functional initiatives in a high-growth startup environment in NYC.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with founders and the executive team on strategic finance priorities: fundraising materials, board reporting, and investor communications
- Build and own financial models that inform major business decisions, including pricing strategy, market sizing, and unit economics
- Lead ad hoc strategic analysis on competitive positioning, new market opportunities, and growth initiatives
- Partner with the Revenue team on pipeline and revenue forecasting, and drive unit economics and market ROI analysis to shape go-to-market strategy
- Own the development of external-facing materials for investors, board members, and strategic partners
- Collaborate with data and engineering to build the infrastructure behind Confido's financial and business insights
Qualifications
- Experience in investment banking, consulting, and/or strategic finance / experience at a relevant high-growth or venture-backed startup.
- Ability to “wear multiple hats” as a team player in order to prioritize the dynamic business needs of a high-growth organization .
- Exceptional excel/financial modeling skills, with an ability to work quickly with little oversight.
- Analytical aptitude with keen attention to detail and insatiable curiosity to learn.
- Strong self-management, drive and organizational skills with ownership and pride in your work and ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment is essential.
- Ownership mentality, bias for action, highly motivated, strong work ethic.
