About the role
Aprio Philippines is hiring a Tax Associate to join the Tax team in a hybrid setup. The role focuses on applying technical tax accounting knowledge to consulting and compliance engagements, preparing tax returns, and supporting US tax processes.
Responsibilities
- Apply strong technical tax accounting knowledge on consulting and compliance client engagements
- Prepare tax returns (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120s, 1040)
- Prepare the 1042 and 1042S filings during March and April in Gosystems RS and Avalara.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of public accounting experience, with experience in U.S. tax required
- Some exposure in the preparation of tax returns is ideal
- Degree in Accounting or related field strongly preferred
- Exceptional writing skills
- Strong accounting, analytical, technical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities
- Willingness to travel on a very limited basis
- Willingness to travel on a limited basis
