About the role
Oversees day-to-day operations of the Worcester Health Center in partnership with Health Center Director and clinical leadership, ensuring smooth clinic operations, staff leadership, regulatory compliance, and a high-quality, patient-centered experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily health center operations, staffing, scheduling, and patient flow
- Supervise unlicensed staff and Team Leads; support performance and development
- Monitor budget, productivity, visit volume, and operational metrics
- Use data to drive quality improvement and patient experience initiatives
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, MDPH, Title X, and organizational standards
- Partner with HR on hiring, training, and performance management
- Oversee appointment templates, cash handling, inventory, and facilities coordination
- Address patient complaints and risk management issues collaboratively
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 3–7 years of staff management experience preferred
- Healthcare or clinical operations experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual a plus (Spanish, Mandarin, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese, or Portuguese strongly preferred)
