About the role
Advanced Practice Clinician delivering high-quality, patient-centered Sexual and Reproductive Health services including family planning and abortion care in a part-time, on-site role based in Springfield with occasional travel to Worcester, Marlborough, and Boston.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality sexual and reproductive health care following PPFA, PPLM, and Massachusetts guidelines.
- Conduct patient visits, including history review, exams, and clinical decision-making.
- Deliver key services: contraception (IUDs, implants), STI testing/treatment, pregnancy care, medication abortion, and gender-affirming hormone therapy.
- Manage labs, referrals, and follow-up care to ensure safe, coordinated treatment.
- Educate patients and support informed, judgment-free care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with MA DPH, OSHA, CLIA, and Title X standards.
- Collaborate with team members, support clinic flow, and maintain required licensure and certifications.
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Current DEA registration, MA Controlled Substance Registration, and BLS/CPR certification.
- 5–8 years of relevant clinical experience preferred.
- Ability to travel between multiple work locations as needed.
- Strong clinical background in sexual and reproductive health.
- Ability to provide compassionate, inclusive care to diverse populations.
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using electronic health records and basic computer tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and remain active throughout the shift.
