About the role
Lead Company Operations Manager joining the COO Office to design and manage leadership forums and the operating rhythm across NewCo’s leadership, including board materials, ELT Strategy Days, weekly ELT meetings, and SLT engagements, with a focus on structure, follow-through, and cross-functional impact within the Fivetran + dbt Labs integration.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the integrated calendar of executive forums, planning cycles, and decision points.
- Improve the rhythm by identifying duplicative or low-signal cadences and proposing changes.
- Ensure each forum has a clear purpose, owner, input set, and decision output, avoiding collisions or duplication.
- Own end-to-end preparation of board materials: storyline, data coordination with Finance and department leaders, and ELT review cycles.
- Maintain a reliable source of truth for board and executive reporting metrics.
- Synthesize executive inputs into a single, decision-ready artifact (doc, model, or deck).
- Partner with COO's Executive Assistant for scheduling and logistics to keep content and logistics aligned.
- Help run quarterly ELT Strategy Days: topic selection, agendas, pre-reads, facilitation materials, and capture of decisions with owners and dates.
- Shape Strategy Days around strategic priorities to propel the business and ensure action items are assigned and tracked.
- Carry decisions and actions from Strategy Days to completion and bring unresolved items into the next session.
- Help run weekly ELT meetings: topic selection, agendas, pre-reads, materials, and capture of decisions with owners and dates.
- Close loop between weekly meetings and Strategy Days; track decisions across both and drive completion.
- Remove blockers, escalate early, and demonstrate measurable changes from cadences.
- Lead and facilitate recurring engagement with the SLT (VPs and above) to leverage perspectives and keep them informed.
- Take on ambiguous cross-functional initiatives for the COO Office (roughly 20% capacity) from framing through delivery.
- Structure new work with a charter (problem statement, success measures, decision rights, stakeholders, timeline).
- Drive projects to measurable outcomes without formal authority, influencing across functions.
- Transition completed initiatives to a permanent owner with necessary documentation and mechanisms.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in program management, business operations, strategy, or chief of staff roles supporting stakeholders up to senior executives.
- Proven ownership of executive or board-level forums: designed agendas, pre-reads, captured decisions, follow-through.
