About the role

Onboarding Specialist responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving SpaceX’s domestic onboarding program to deliver high-quality social and developmental experiences for new hires, partnering with stakeholders and HR leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Help manage and scale the company’s domestic onboarding program
  • Lead design, development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of orientation and onboarding programs with innovative strategies and tools
  • Partner with stakeholders across the company to update all new hire information for current company practices and policies
  • Develop and act on a deep understanding of internal onboarding-related systems (Workday, Jira, Greenhouse, etc.)
  • Track metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of onboarding programs, then develop and execute recommendations for program improvements
  • Assist in weekly orientation preparations
  • Provide outstanding service to our customers by responding in a timely manner to their questions
  • Identify and implement positive employee experiences to help new SpaceX employees adapt to company and team cultures quickly
  • Partner with HR leadership to create and implement onboarding-related resources for hiring managers, company leadership, and other stakeholders in the onboarding process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of professional experience in onboarding, learning and development, human resources, or program management
