About the role
Fulfillment Buyer within SpaceX Starlink's Indirect Procurement team, supporting purchases for several Starlink locations. Focused on fast, accurate procurement to optimize cost, quality, and delivery in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Issue purchase orders quickly and without error
- Ensure purchase orders are acknowledged by suppliers
- Obtain the original promise date from suppliers
- Review open order reports and manage deliveries
- Resolve invoice issues and ensure that vendors are paid on time
- Expedite parts as necessary
- Act as customer service for SpaceX internal customers
- Support buyers in cost savings initiatives
- Lead miscellaneous procurement projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree OR 2+ years of experience working in a supply chain or operations
