About the role

Fabrication Technician responsible for GSE support, LOX/fuel systems, and associated equipment at Cape Canaveral, with multiple shifts including evenings and nights.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technician ground support equipment (GSE) support, including building, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting pumps, tanks, valves, and plumbing related to LOX pad, fuel pad, and site facilities
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and instrumentation as needed
  • Operate and maintain hardware, high-pressure systems and pumps, and ancillary equipment including pneumatic components
  • Fabricate and repair GSE, hardware, and equipment
  • Collaborate with design engineers to develop and document GSE activities
  • Ensure all materials are clean and inspected according to Clean for Oxygen Service Standards
  • Build and maintain GSE, LOX/fuel farms, and associated systems/equipment
  • Obtain and maintain licenses, operator permits, or certifications as required
  • Follow all regulations and SpaceX procedures (quality, safety, OSHA, EPA, NIOSH, NFPA, ASME, NEC, etc.)
  • Develop ways to streamline processes and increase reliability of testing operations
  • Perform related duties in support of vehicle, launch pad, and development programs

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 1+ years of professional hands-on experience with pressurized, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems
