About the role

Benefits Coordinator at SpaceX responsible for administering employee benefit programs, supporting employees with benefit-related questions, and ensuring accurate benefit enrollments and deductions. Requires relocation to Hawthorne, CA and potential travel to other SpaceX sites.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support with administration of employee benefit programs, such as medical, dental, vision, life, accident and disability insurance, and retirement plans, including new hire orientation and annual benefits open enrollment
  • Assist, advise, and counsel employees on day-to-day benefit-related questions (via email, phone, walk-ups, and drop-in sessions)
  • Maintain integrity of eligibility enrollments within Workday
  • Partner with our payroll department to ensure accuracy of benefit deductions
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:
  • Employee perks administration, employee services, and company wellness initiatives
  • Relocation administration
  • Commuter benefits administration
  • Leaves of absence (LOA) administration
  • Workers’ compensation administration
  • Onsite medical and dental clinics
  • Onsite preschool
  • Employee perquisites and wellness initiatives
  • Commuter benefits

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6+ months of administrative experience (internship experience qualifies)

Skills

Required:Benefit program administrationEmployee relations and counseling
Nice to have:Workday or HRIS experienceMS Office (Excel)
