About the role

QA Engineer to own quality across the software delivery lifecycle, designing and executing test strategies, building automated test suites, and leveraging AI-assisted testing tools to speed up testing activities and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements and technical specifications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing for web applications, APIs, and backend services.
  • Build and maintain automated test suites for regression, smoke, and critical-path coverage.
  • Validate functional, integration, end-to-end, and non-functional requirements.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to generate and maintain test cases, triage flaky tests, and analyze failure logs to speed up root-cause identification.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes quickly.
  • Participate in requirement and design reviews to catch quality risks early and drive continuous QA improvements.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and SDLC/STLC.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
  • Understanding of CI/CD workflows and version control systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort incorporating AI-assisted tools into day-to-day QA workflows.
