About the role

Technical Program Manager overseeing transformation of Meta's Infra software stack, partnering with Engineering and Product to shape technical roadmaps, drive API/interface design, and own end-to-end delivery and adoption for a major surface of Meta's infrastructure software.

Responsibilities

  • Own technical program management for a core area of Meta's infrastructure software stack, spanning platform strategy, technical design, delivery, and partner adoption
  • Partner with Engineering and Product to define the multi-quarter roadmap: shaping feature plans, participating substantively in technical design and API/interface design reviews, and making tradeoff recommendations
  • Drive platform adoption end to end — defining the onboarding path for partner teams, removing friction in integration, and ensuring strong partner experience from evaluation to production use
  • Translate the needs of demanding internal customer organizations into platform requirements, and broker prioritization conversations
  • Define and instrument metrics to determine platform success (adoption, reliability, efficiency, developer/agent effectiveness) and use them to drive decisions
  • Lead technical discussions and act as a thought leader in program and design reviews; coordinate cross-functional input
  • Identify and solve systemic problems across organizational boundaries and build lightweight operational constructs to accelerate momentum
  • Perform risk assessment, risk mitigation, and change management across multiple concurrent programs
  • Articulate technical vision, requirements, goals, and milestones to stakeholders up to VP level
  • Provide hands-on program management through design, development, testing, rollout, and post-launch phases
  • Mentor and raise the bar for other technical program managers and influence TPM practices across the organization

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or technical product/program management
  • Experience delivering technical platforms or infrastructure software from inception through production adoption
  • Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional programs with significant organizational impact
  • Experience driving strategic technical initiatives and influencing roadmaps across multiple engineering teams
  • Experience with platform or developer-facing software, including API and interface design, partner onboarding, and adoption by external teams
  • Experience working with AI/ML or agentic systems, translating requirements into platform decisions
  • Experience with executive-level communication and influencing senior leadership
  • Experience navigating ambiguity and defining structure for multi-quarter programs
  • Experience communicating between non-technical and technical audiences
  • Experience mentoring other TPMs
  • Experience establishing working relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and time zones
