About the role

Anduril Industries seeks a Winter 2027 Propulsion Engineer Co-op to assist with propulsion systems for unmanned aerial vehicles, including design, testing, and integration of aircraft engines and components, CAD support, and coordination with engine vendors. The role involves in-person internship in one of Anduril’s offices during winter 2027, with potential travel to test sites.

Responsibilities

  • Critical member of team for selection and integration of aircraft engines, engine components, and fuel systems on unmanned air vehicles
  • Design, fabricate, and test prototype components and control systems
  • Plan, instrument, and execute tests of aircraft propulsion systems
  • Coordinate with engine vendors, develop strategic partnerships, and manage development projects
  • Support critical hardware demonstrations with customers as needed
  • Critical member of team supporting CAD design for internal aerodynamic loft, surfaces and structures
  • Travel to test sites as needed

Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities; U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on program.
  • Ability to complete an in-person 16 to 24-week internship in one of our offices in winter 2027.
