About the role

Software Engineers contribute to the delivery of a variety of software integrated into Anduril’s maritime products, including autonomy, simulation, data processing, payload integration, and off-board command and control and decision support. They own end-to-end outcomes across the product lifecycle within a multi-disciplinary, defense-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Empathize with end-users and drive solutions in a multi-stakeholder environment
  • Own software-enabled solutions deployed to customers, optimizing for end-user value
  • Implement software that rapidly delivers capability with a clear architecture and capability evolution path
  • Contribute to development of existing software services across Anduril for reusability across product lines
  • Develop software that runs on- and off- robotic platforms using diverse technologies
  • Collaborate to develop and iteratively enhance vehicle and mission software with full lifecycle testing, monitoring, and operation
  • Create test and simulation fixtures for software- and hardware-in-the-loop environments
  • Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team
  • Travel to co-locate with end-users and/or other teams up to 20% of the time

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Professional experience as a Software Engineer with relevant domains/technologies
  • Systems and/or application programming skills including algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing and software design
  • Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems
  • Capacity to work holistically across the software stack and lifecycle
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and grow rapidly toward Senior Software Engineer level
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
