About the role

Senior technical program manager responsible for overseeing development, execution, and delivery of Battlespace Awareness software for critical programs, ensuring alignment with technical, functional, and business requirements within Anduril's Battlespace Awareness C2 Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a detailed project and execution plan including feature development, testing and validation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Establish clear objectives and deliverables for software that align with program needs.
  • Maintain deep understanding of algorithms and software interfaces for battle management, threat prediction, tracking, and classification to ensure integration with the larger C2 system.
  • Stay updated on techniques and incorporate innovations with subject matter experts into the project plan.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including technical specifications, user manuals, and project reports.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee planning and execution of software release process, ensuring smooth deployment and quality.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for project communications internally and with external stakeholders.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on status, risks, and milestones through reports and presentations.
  • Assess and allocate necessary resources (personnel, software, hardware) to support the project.
  • Monitor resource utilization and adjust to avoid bottlenecks or constraints.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies with subject matter experts; regularly review and update risk management plan.
  • Collaborate across divisions to ensure software meets integration requirements and program priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Extensive project management experience, preferably in software development for advanced algorithms.
  • Demonstrable understanding of optimization, applied probability, and AI/ML technology.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations and tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance.
