About the role

The IT Licensing Technician manages high-volume day-to-day licensing operations, including request intake/fulfillment, inventory tracking, basic VAR coordination, and off-the-shelf software support to ensure engineers receive tools quickly during critical campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume license and user requests with speed and accuracy.
  • Manage inventory, track counts, and flag issues early.
  • Handle one-off/off-the-shelf software procurement, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Partner with VARs for basic allocations and operational support.
  • Generate simple usage reports and maintain records.
  • Take repetitive toil/churn off Analysts and continuously reduce friction for users.
  • Coordinate with IT Services for seamless delivery.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • 1+ years of professional experience in IT support, licensing operations, or asset tracking.
