About the role

Test Technician role at SpaceX focusing on pneumatic/hydraulic testing of flight hardware, data analysis, and assembly/maintenance for Falcon programs.

Responsibilities

  • Control and manage pneumatic and hydraulic tests on flight hardware
  • Use hand tools, high pressure pumps, and protective equipment
  • Work with high pressure gases, such as helium, gaseous nitrogen, and liquid nitrogen
  • Understand and analyze test data to meet acceptance criteria established by engineering
  • Use computer software programs for controlling tests
  • Layout, fabricate, assemble, and install experimental and production flight hardware for master mock-ups, full scale operating models, and test assemblies
  • Repair or replace flight hardware due to engineering design changes and test failures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 2+ years of testing experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or military environment

Skills

Required:pneumatic and hydraulic testingtest data analysis
Nice to have:computer-based data analysis (LabVIEW)technical drawings and schematics
