Responsibilities

  • Frame fences, stairs, decks, walls, floors, sheds, concrete forms, and other structures
  • Construct and support various MEP projects
  • Use equipment to perform earthwork, demo, clearing and cleaning
  • Use hand and measurement tools and manual equipment (saws, squares, shovels, etc.)
  • Support various landscaping projects
  • Layout, installation, repair, finishing, maintaining various structures, fixtures and buildings
  • Basic concrete work and repair on sidewalks, curbs, driveways, and patios
  • Operate forklifts, boom lifts, and other heavy equipment
  • Adhere to proper safety guidelines at all times
  • Keep tools, materials and equipment in working condition
  • Advise in the selection of building materials; requisitions building materials and supplies
  • Transport various heavy materials in vehicles

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 1+ years of residential/commercial/civil construction experience

Skills

Required:Reading and following schematics/blueprints
Nice to have:Basic math and engineering principlesCommunication and feedback to design teamSafety training and operation of heavy equipmentMechanical systems, carpentry, concrete, welding, earthwork
