About the role

Role supporting legal, finance, HR, tax, and compliance in a small, fast-growing company. Focus on contracts, billing, compliance, day-to-day operations, and improving processes with AI tools. Hybrid work with two in-office days (NYC and South Norwalk) and remaining days remote.

Responsibilities

  • Intake, organize, assist with, and track client agreements; route documents for e-signature; maintain contract database and track renewal and obligation dates
  • Help run the client invoicing cycle, preparing and reconciling invoices against signed contract terms, keep CRM accurate, and flag inconsistencies
  • Maintain compliance and entity calendars, assemble documentation, and keep records audit-ready
  • Own recurring processes, provide scheduling, inbox, and document support so nothing falls through the cracks
  • Plan company events, manage office experience, and facilitate travel arrangements for employees to enhance culture and team experience
  • Use AI tools to draft, enter data, and research efficiently while ensuring accuracy
  • Document and improve processes as they are learned to ensure reliability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience
  • Attention to detail; comfort with numbers and documentation
  • Willingness to learn and adapt; openness to various backgrounds
  • Comfortable with AI tools and diligent about verifying outputs
  • People-oriented with interest in culture and team experience
  • Proactive, self-directed, fast and curious learner of all business areas (legal, finance, operations)
  • Strong communication skills; proficient with Excel and Google Docs
  • Discretion and trust with confidential information
  • Authorized to work in the US
