About the role

Senior Curriculum Engineer at MongoDB University, building high-quality online technical education and skill-based learning content for enterprise users and a general audience. Remote-based in Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Ideate and write skill-based course materials and videos
  • Contribute to our stack of AI-tooling to help us create high-quality content
  • Create code and visualizations to demonstrate technical concepts as you teach MongoDB
  • Participate in the creation of our skill checks and certification questions
  • Collaborate with in-house subject-matter experts, curriculum designers, video producers, product and marketing managers to develop a course from discovery to launch
  • Opportunity to represent MongoDB at public events such as webinars and conferences
  • Become an expert on part of the MongoDB product set to help drive content strategy and direction along with our Product Strategy and Curriculum team
  • Continually expand your domain knowledge of MongoDB, software development, and learning sciences

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable 3-5 years of industry experience with MongoDB or similar technologies as a developer, DBA, or equivalent
  • Writing and/or instructional experience that demonstrates the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a general audience
  • Ability to review content and code
  • Willingness to translate technical concepts to help others learn MongoDB
