About the role

Recruiting Operations at Skydio aims to support the Recruiting team and cross-functional stakeholders by enabling efficient hiring and delivering a welcoming candidate experience. The role focuses on managing onsite candidate interactions, scheduling interviews, and supporting university recruiting events and intern programs at the San Mateo HQ.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule phone, video, and onsite interviews for candidates across various departments
  • Greet candidates onsite at our HQ, providing office tours and ensuring a warm, welcoming environment
  • Collaborate with the University Recruiting team to help coordinate campus events, career fairs, and intern onboarding
  • Maintain accurate records in our Applicant Tracking System (Ashby) to ensure no candidate falls through the cracks
  • Assist the broader People team with ad-hoc projects related to employer branding, swag management, and event planning
  • Learn to identify scheduling conflicts and proactively solve puzzles to keep the hiring process moving fast

Qualifications

  • 0-1+ years of experience (internships, campus leadership, event planning, student clubs, Resident Advisors (RAs) or customer service experience is a plus)
  • Ability to be in-person at our San Mateo HQ 4-5 days per week
  • Hyper-organized with strong attention to detail
  • Customer-obsessed mindset and ability to make people feel comfortable and valued
  • Tech-savvy and eager to learn new software platforms (Ashby, G-Suite, Workday)
  • Clear communicator who asks questions when needed
  • Excited to start a career at a fast-paced, high-tech company
  • Obtaining FAA Part 107 certification within the first 60 days of employment is strongly encouraged and may be required for certain positions
