About the role

Meta’s Corporate Development team evaluates and executes strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, and other strategic deals. The Corporate Development Associate supports deal leads, integration, and cross-functional partners across the transaction lifecycle with financial modeling, diligence coordination, and executive-ready materials.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and understand Meta's strategic objectives and industry trends to identify and pursue suitable companies/technologies
  • Support transaction execution across M&A, minority investments, and strategic partnerships, including diligence coordination, workplan tracking, and materials preparation
  • Build and maintain financial analyses (operating, valuation, synergy models) to inform deal decisions
  • Develop strategic and market perspectives via industry landscapes, competitive maps, and investment theses aligned to Meta's priorities
  • Prepare executive-ready materials (briefing documents, internal memos, presentations) that synthesize rationale, risks, and diligence findings
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners (Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Integration)
  • Monitor trends in relevant technology markets and summarize emerging themes and opportunities for the team

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, corporate strategy, private equity, or corporate development in tech
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Math or related field
  • Experience supporting transaction processes (diligence, valuation, coordination, materials prep) for M&A, investments, or partnerships
  • Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills, including with leadership stakeholders
  • Analytical skills with experience in financial/valuation modeling and other quantitative analyses
  • Understanding of technology with ability to engage product/engineering on roadmaps and translate to business impact
