About the role

Senior software engineer role building core capabilities for Anduril's Lattice for Cyber team, focusing on scalable, reliable cyber-focused software across networking, autonomy, and systems integration with opportunities to engage with customers and contribute to platform core.

Responsibilities

  • Build highly-available and scalable services, data models, and APIs that power offensive cyber products (e.g., command and control frameworks, autonomous cyber behavior trees, SIGINT analysis tools, data exfiltration pipelines).
  • Integrate best-of-breed Cyber tools and products into Lattice via SDKs or white-glove integrations.
  • Work directly with program teams and customers as they build real missions on your products.
  • Contribute to technical leadership, design clarity, and long-term maintainability across a growing software stack.
  • Design distributed software systems that operate reliably across degraded, intermittent, and contested networks (far edge to enterprise).
  • Incorporate AI/LLM-enabled workflow features to improve analyst/operator effectiveness without compromising reliability.
  • Build SDKs and integrations to allow vendors to integrate their software/tools into Lattice Cyber.
  • Contribute back to the Lattice software platform core to extend value across the company.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production software.
  • Strong software engineering experience in one or more of C, C++, Python, Go, Rust, or modern TypeScript/React application development.
  • Ability to debug across the full stack (logs, networking, interfaces, configuration, hardware/software boundaries).
  • Practical experience with Linux and containerized deployment.
  • Comfort collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams and translating ambiguous requirements into clean software interfaces.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reviews and architecture discussions.
