About the role

Anduril’s Facilities Operations team seeks a Facilities Maintenance Planner to develop detailed maintenance plans for facility assets, with a focus on electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, and to partner with contractors and stakeholders to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Create model work orders and detailed maintenance plans, including SOPs and quality standards for day-to-day maintenance in the industrial space (R&D, production, manufacturing, test site support).
  • Scope mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing (MEP) work as the space evolves.
  • Collaborate with equipment owners on future equipment installations and planning, ensuring maintenance plans and schedules are in place and workflows are efficient.
  • Collaborate with Environmental, Safety, and Health to ensure compliance on scheduled inspections.
  • Help set the culture with senior leadership to create a can-do, customer-focused working environment and present a professional image.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related maintenance planning experience supporting aerospace, defense, automotive, or other types of manufacturing facilities.
  • Technical training in CMMS maintenance planning (model work order design, preventative maintenance schedules, corrective maintenance support).
  • Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance concepts, including commercial/industrial electrical (including 480v 3-phase power), hydraulic and mechanical systems.
  • Experience operating and maintaining forklifts, aerial man lifts, overhead gantry cranes and hoists.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Independent worker comfortable with ambiguity and driving outcomes with minimal oversight.
  • Strong attention to detail and 100% compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
