About the role

Financial Analyst II role supporting Anduril's Electromagnetic Warfare business line with program/project financial management, IRAD financials, and P&L forecasting across contracts and internally funded development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Own rolling monthly forecasts, working with engineering leads
  • Develop and maintain EAC forecasts and ETC integrity with PMs
  • Analyze and monitor contract profit margins
  • Support P&L forecasting by contract and business line
  • Own IRAD financial management including budget tracking and reporting on internally funded development programs
  • Deliver monthly internal management reporting through presentations and written communications
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis
  • Support month-end close activities with accounting and other functions
  • Build reports and automated dashboards in FP&A and BI tools
  • Support pricing and proposal activities
  • Assist in long range planning
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting tools, systems, and procedures
  • Ad hoc support and special projects

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience as a financial analyst or in a related finance/accounting role
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Working knowledge of BAC, EAC, and ETC management
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal communication, and presentation skills
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to apply for and maintain a U.S. security clearance
