About the role

Senior Systems Engineer to support Electronic Warfare (EW) with focus on Electronic Support Measures (ESM) and Electronic Attack / Electronic Counter Measures (EA/ECM) systems across full product life cycle from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate systems engineering activities for EW programs, including ESM and EA/ECM in ground-based or aerial domains.
  • Develop system requirements, traceability, verification and validation plans.
  • Coordinate across disciplines to ensure comprehensive definition, implementation, and validation of system requirements and design.
  • Lead program teams through systems engineering reviews and own related CDRLs including SRR, PDR, and CDR.
  • Prepare and present technical documents such as white papers, proposals, trade studies, test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Balance multiple projects and work both in team settings and independently.
  • Maintain eligibility to obtain and keep an active U.S. Secret/Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of hands on systems engineering leadership experience
  • Experience with system design, development and test of ESM and EA / ECM in ground-based or aerial EW domains (Counter-Radar, Counter-UAS, Counter-Comms, Counter-PNT, Counter-RCIED)
  • Experience with embedded devices and Software Defined Radios (SDRs)
  • Experience with system requirements creation, traceability, verification and validation
  • Experience coordinating across disciplines to ensure well-defined, implemented and validated requirements and design
  • Experience leading program teams through SE reviews and owning CDRLs (SRR, PDR, CDR)
  • Excellent technical writing for white papers, proposals, trade studies, test plans/procedures/reports
  • Ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Strong multi-project management skills
  • Eligible for active U.S. Secret/Top Secret clearance
