About the role

Behavior Technician role providing ABA therapy to children with autism in clinic and/or in-home settings in the Ontario, OH area. Active, high-energy position focused on play-based teaching, data collection, and family collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Be a Play-Maker: Work 1:1 with children in a clinic or in-home setting. You aren't just "monitoring"—you are actively playing, moving, and engaging a child to help them meet their goals.
  • Teach Through Action: Use creative, high-movement methods to teach communication, social cues, and daily living skills.
  • Data & Collaboration: Collect progress data and collaborate with supervising BCBAs to ensure the child is thriving.
  • Support Families: Build trust with parents through parent training and consistent, upbeat communication.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience working with children (daycare, camp counselor, teaching, coaching, or similar) is required. Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with a passion for working with children are also encouraged to apply!

Skills

Required:RBT CertificationExperience with children
Nice to have:Active CPR certification
