About the role

SparkJoy ABA, a Finni Health Company, is seeking high-energy Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy to children with autism in Shelby, OH. Part-time to full-time options available; in-person on-site role.

Responsibilities

  • Be a Play Leader: work 1:1 with children in their homes, actively playing, moving, and engaging a child to help meet goals
  • Teach Through Action: use creative, high-movement methods to teach communication, social cues, and daily living skills
  • Data & Collaboration: collect progress data and collaborate with supervising BCBAs to ensure the child is thriving
  • Support Families: build trust with parents through consistent, upbeat communication and in-home support

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience working with children (daycare, camp Counselor, teaching, coaching, or similar) is required
  • Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in the Shelby area
  • Passing RBT Certification within 90 days of hire is required (training and cost provided)
  • Proof of completion of a 40-hour Behavior Technician training course is preferred but not required to interview
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to meet regulatory, background check, and BACB eligibility requirements for behavioral healthcare providers
