About the role

Community Lead for Kraken Pro focused on building and leading a trader-centric community across channels (Discord, Telegram, X, TradingView, Reddit, etc.), driving engagement, feedback loops to product, and growth of key ambassador and power-user programs.

Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in community channels (Discord, Telegram, X, TradingView, Reddit, group chats) and lead conversations in real-time.
  • Be the fastest voice in the room during market events and app updates, posting with speed and accuracy.
  • Build and manage an ambassador and power-user program targeting market makers, quant desks, and high-volume traders.
  • Run community initiatives publicly (AMAs, live trading sessions, feature launches, competitions, post-mortems) and own the format.
  • Coordinate with Product by delivering community feedback and receipts to PMs and communicating status back to the community.
  • Create content that others screenshot (threads on microstructure, feature teardowns, release notes that are clear and insightful).
  • Measure impact (sentiment, share of voice, signups sourced from community, retention of key accounts) and present metrics proactively.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years running community or social for a product with a technical, skeptical audience (crypto, fintech, gaming, or dev tools are relevant).
  • Experience with markets topics (funding rates, maker/taker economics, slippage, latency) and ability to discuss technically.
  • Strong writing skills: fast, concise short-form and compelling long-form content.
