About the role

Role focused on building scalable business operations to unlock growth across global markets, partnering with leadership to lead large, cross-functional initiatives, and improve buyer/seller experience while scaling Whatnot’s international footprint.

Responsibilities

  • Take Whatnot global: help launch and scale UK, France, Germany, and Canada markets; conduct primary research; own market metrics across buyer/seller funnels, growth, marketing investments, and margin dynamics.
  • Scale our marketing engine: bring business-side rigor to how marketing capital is deployed, measured, and prioritized; perform complex channel analyses and build capabilities to support growth.
  • Build a healthy, durable business: lead analyses of margin levers and growth investments; inform pricing decisions; translate findings into actionable leadership recommendations.
  • Help Whatnot run better: build tooling as a single source of truth for tracking progress, metrics, resources, and blockers to keep teams lean and iterative.
  • Deliver for our users: pressure-test new products/features; translate learnings into initiatives to improve buyer/seller experience; own resolution of high-impact issues end-to-end when things go wrong.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field
  • 5-6+ years experience in consulting, investment banking/private equity, or a fast-growing startup
  • Professional fluency in French, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to move quickly with little structure or guidance
  • Curiosity about different parts of the business and levers to drive growth
  • Ability to operate independently and dive deep into ambiguous projects
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functionally, drive change and impact in fluid environments
  • Fluency in using AI tools to enhance problem-solving, analysis, and execution
