About the role

Hybrid role focused on building and operating high-impact hiring programs for YC startups, including events, playbooks, and content to drive top-of-funnel recruiting for Work at a Startup.

Responsibilities

  • Own YC’s job seeker programming: Monthly Hiring Meetup, Tech Talks, Career Expos, and more
  • Develop and iterate on internal playbooks for all recruiting-related events
  • Run high-quality in-person events on campus that help founders and candidates connect
  • Develop content — blog, tutorials, interviews and more — to build top-of-funnel for our platform
  • Analyze engagement and event performance to understand what’s working and what needs improvement
  • Grow our candidate ecosystem by building partnerships and relationships with universities, communities, and talent pools

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in an operations role, with experience running events and programs
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects or events with multiple stakeholders
  • Goal-oriented, analytical mindset with a track record of executing projects with measurable outcomes
  • Experience with or deep appreciation for the startup ecosystem, ideally YC
