About the role

Aprio Philippines is seeking a Manager, Transaction Advisory Services to join the Advisory – Finance Advisory team in a hybrid work arrangement, handling financial due diligence and related activities for private equity and strategic buyers and sellers.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, direct and complete financial/accounting due diligence for private equity and strategic buyers and sellers from various industries
  • Develop relationships with clients and engage with target company executives
  • Compile and analyze historical financial data/financial statements from buyers/sellers; conduct interviews
  • Comment on client sellers/targets’ financial results and position
  • Supervise and develop seniors and associates; provide performance feedback
  • Assist Partners/Senior Managers on proposals and new business opportunities; draft responses; participate in proposal process; build client relationships; communicate with buyers/sellers
  • Manage client expectations regarding project deliverables and deadlines; lead change efforts
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships and cross-sell Aprio services
  • Communicate externally with clients and internally with all levels to achieve objectives with knowledge and confidence
  • Maintain strong knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, transaction advisory services or M&A
  • Demonstrate leadership, training and mentoring skills
  • Foster relationships with coworkers and clients across service lines and industry groups
  • Participate in a collaborative, community-oriented work environment
  • Travel up to approximately 20% of the time
  • Hybrid work arrangement (2 days onsite, 3 days WFH); full-time onsite during first 2 months
  • Mid-shift schedule (3pm - 12am PHT)
  • Amenable to hybrid and shift requirements

Qualifications

  • Understanding and applying Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills
  • Poise working with private equity and corporate executives
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse group
  • At least five plus years of recent experience in Audit, Finance or Transaction Advisory (preferred)
  • Adequate knowledge of GAAP
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Licensed CPA is a plus
  • Hybrid work arrangement (2 days onsite, 3 days WFH); full-time onsite during first 2 months
  • Mid-shift schedule (3pm - 12mn PHT)
