About the role

Temporary full-time, on-site canvassing role in Mount Pocono, PA focused on voter outreach for Pennsylvania elections. Union-represented position with generous benefits and bonuses, requiring in-person presence and high-volume, metrics-driven work.

Responsibilities

  • Engage voters in meaningful conversations at the doors in diverse communities
  • Persuade, motivate, and educate voters about progressive candidates and issues
  • Perform voter contact door-to-door, online SMS texting or via phone daily to meet goals
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly metrics and report data accurately
  • Table and engage in high-traffic canvassing and attend events
  • Assist with event execution and attend weekly calls and trainings
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous campaign or voter contact experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN or willingness to learn preferred
  • Reliable transportation with valid license/insurance/registration and clean driving record (unless exempted)
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours in a high-productivity, metrics-driven environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and handle multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills
  • Bilingual experience a plus but not required
