About the role

Senior electrical engineer focused on power systems for SpaceX College Station facility construction projects, handling design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and coordination with utilities and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and grow with a multi-disciplinary infrastructure project team by performing power-specific engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities for a variety of critical and fast-paced company projects
  • Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for manufacturing, industrial, and commercial type projects
  • Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines through contract close-out
  • Coordinate with electrical utility provider for design/engineering to ensure reliable power service to critical site infrastructure
  • Interact with engineers, contractors, fabricators, and project stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology
  • 5+ years of professional experience with the design and/or build of commercial or industrial power systems
