About the role

Entry-level technician apprentice role focusing on hands-on mechanical work in garage doors with uncapped commission-based earnings and a structured training program.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and install garage door components (springs, cables, rollers, openers, motors)
  • Diagnose problems and perform fixes on-site for homeowners
  • Work hands-on daily in varied conditions (extreme temperatures, physical labor)
  • Sell services/products to homeowners; no sales experience required as training is provided
  • Follow safety and quality standards; communicate with homeowners professionally

Qualifications

  • 21+ years old
  • Valid license and 3+ years driving record
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs, bend, climb, kneel, and work in extreme temperatures
  • Some hands-on mechanical experience or comfort with tools (home services, auto shops, hospitality, DIY)
  • Willingness to undergo criminal background check, drug test (THC excluded) and driving record
  • Basic tech comfort (apps, tablets); ability to read measurements and payments
  • No sales experience required
