Responsibilities

  • Own the manufacturing build readiness process and ensure all processes, documentation, procurement, and system data are validated to achieve Clear to Build before production begins.
  • Serve as a strategic stakeholder for PLM implementation, ongoing support, and optimization as critical end-users of the system.
  • Own MBOMs and ensure accurate translation from EBOMs to MBOMs aligned with production workflows.
  • Provide expert guidance to interpret complex mechanical and electrical design documentation, including fabrication drawings and schematics.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination with purchasing, production, inventory, and project management to align timelines and enable data migration to manufacturing systems.
  • Drive standardization and maintenance of MBOPs and VWIs in harmony with document control and engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers and vendors to secure quotes and provide technical support for external manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering, with 2+ years of direct people management experience.
  • Expert technical foundations with ability to dive deep into technical problems when needed.
  • Deep experience managing MBOMs and ERP systems; PLM implementation experience is highly preferred.
  • Expert ability to read, interpret, and review fabrication drawings, electrical schematics, and complex Engineering Bills of Materials.
  • Operational familiarity with sourcing, purchasing practices, production management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate across multiple sites with a geographically dispersed team.
  • Safety-sensitive role; Drug and alcohol program participation required.
