About the role

12-week summer internship for an Engineering Intern at Decagon, based in San Francisco, June 1 – August 20, 2027, designed for candidates graduating between December 2027 and July 2028. Internship involves contributing to production-ready initiatives within Decagon’s Engineering teams and gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to production-ready initiatives addressing real team needs
  • Work with engineering teams to build and improve AI agent platforms and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with Agent Engineering, Agent Orchestration, Enterprise Product, and Infrastructure teams on relevant projects
  • Learn and apply AI coding agents as part of development
  • Deliver high-impact work with visibility within the team

Qualifications

  • You will graduate by summer 2028 with a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Experience from previous software engineering internships
  • Strong coding abilities and speed
  • Experience using AI coding agents as part of development
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and continuously learn
