About the role

New Grad Member of Technical Staff role joining one of four engineering teams (Agent Engineering, Agent Orchestration, Enterprise Product, or Infrastructure) to build the systems behind Decagon's AI agents. Open to candidates graduating between December 2026 and July 2027, located in San Francisco or New York, onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Owns their work end to end and are trusted to make a real impact from the start
  • Dives deep into complex system challenges and builds elegant solutions that scale to millions of users
  • Work across multiple engineering teams to deploy, orchestrate, and maintain AI agent platforms and infrastructure (as described in the role and team sections)

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or completing a B.S. (or higher) in Computer Science or a related technical field, graduating between December 2026 and July 2027
  • Proficiency with Python, TypeScript, and asynchronous programming
  • Track record of building and shipping high-quality products and features through coursework, internships, or personal projects
  • Comfort digging into system failures across deep technology stacks using whatever tool the problem calls for
  • Experience using AI coding agents as part of development
  • Excitement to thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously learn, and sharpen your skills
